Well as some of may know that for Christmas 2005 Mu gave me a present to go see U2 in Melbourne with the boys (Snake and Fly) as I missed out of getting tickets in Auckland. U2 then postponed there concert due to unforseen circumstances and then rescheduled for November - what a long wait. So off we went to Melbourne on Saturday 18th November.

Since Snake lives in Singapore and is a hard worker (yeah right) so he could not get time off to come see U2 in Melbourne so sold his ticket to Brent - my old flatmate and he also invited his girlfriend Trudy to come. Phew a girl to chat with..... The boys organised for me to take Trudy to the Queen Victoria Markets to do some shopping and the boys to go to the MCG.  We planned to meet at the Belguim Beer gardens in St Kilda when we had finished shopping. By the way the girls beat them to the beer gardens.  After a few Stella Artois and Leffe Blondes, the boys were acting rather strange but didnt think much of it. As thats what happens when those boys get together!

U2 was nearing so where we were staying was only 50m away from the Telstra Dome. The boys and I made our way with 59,996 others to the concert. Once again I was curious as why the boys were whispering in each others ears (do boys do that?). 5 minutes prior to U2 coming on stage, Mu asked if I would marry him!.(very sweaty hands I must say) I said yes!!!!

U2 was amazing, they just rocked and Mu made the concert a greater one.  It was a fun to be at the concert with 2 of Mu's friends and for them to help celebrate the occassion.( also to help calm his nerves!)

I dont think I will ever forget the U2 concert in 2006 oh in Melbourne too.
